Supt. Warren Drake to Speak at Chamber EBR on Proposed School Tax Renewal

SUPT. WARREN DRAKE WILL SPEAK ON THE PROPOSED SCHOOL TAX RENEWAL ELECTION at 12 noon on Tuesday, April 24 at the Chamber of Commerce of East Baton Rouge Parish meeting at Café Américain, 7521 Jefferson Hwy.

Supt. Drake is the superintendent of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System.  He was the superintendent of the No. 1-ranked Zachary Community School System for 12 years.

The election will be voted on this Saturday parishwide, except in the Baker, Central, and Zachary school systems.

The meeting is open to the public. Lunch is $19.50 payable to the restaurant. Lunch is complimentary for the working media.

The Chamber of Commerce of East Baton Rouge Parish is composed of small business owners whose businesses are located in EBR. Cecil Cavanaugh is chairman, and Woody Jenkins is President.
